TVPFHA will be participating again this year in the Southern Equine Expo and demonstrating horses on Saturday, February 24. During our exhibition our goal is to show that Pasos can do anything. TVPFHA will also have a booth throughout the Expo. In addition, attendees will also be able to watch demonstrations by one of our breed’s most publicly recognized trainers and last year’s Southern Equine Expo Colt Starting Champion Michael Gascon. If you and/or your farm are interested in either joining us for the demonstration or volunteering at our booth, please PM Lee Ann Williams-Maley.

Hello Tennessee Valley Members and Associates,
There will be a Board/Membership meeting on Saturday, August 19th during the lunch break. The Agenda will be as follows:
TVPHA will participate in the Southern Equine Expo, which will be held on February 24-26, 2017 at the Miller Arena in Murfreesboro, Tenn. During this event, we will have a booth and display our horses twice during the event before thousands of horse enthusiasts so that they can see why our horses are so special. Also, Paso Fino and Horsemanship Trainer Michael Gascon will be performing from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. on Friday, February 24, as well as participating in a Colt Starting Challenge throughout the event. You are cordially invited to attend and audit the upcoming judge’s & steward’s clinic at Startown Stable in Newton, NC on February 11 & 12, 2017. Please come join us and observe the training that all our PFHA judges and stewards are required to have per the PFHA Rule Book. Take this opportunity to meet and visit with our licensed officials.

Dec. 3, 2016 – Nashville Christmas Parade
Members of TVPFHA and Kentucky Paso Fino Horse Association have been invited to participate in the Nashville Christmas Parade on Saturday December 3rd. The parade will be nationally televised on 165 stations reaching as far as Hawaii. The parade starts at 9:00 AM and participants will need to be at the starting point at 7:00 AM for line up. The dress will be similar to the black formal show attire that one would wear if participating in a performance or fino show division (at least try to have a black jacket, hat and pants and a white shirt). If anyone is interested in participating, please contact Stella Hixson as soon as possible at 615-403-4702. This is a great opportunity to showcase our wonderful horses.
There are stalls available for an overnight stay at MTSU for $15.00 plus tax per night if needed.
